I am a Creative Director living and working in New York City.
I believe that progressive thought and creativity are the new prototype for any industry. In order to create a sense of urgency for the consumer, an entity and all of its components must speak to unrevealed human emotions. I have spent the past decade observing, exploring, and practicing this exact phenomenon: how to create content, experiences, and environments that create an immediate sense of discovery and desire for consumers. A profound fascination with this exploration is what led me to Creative Direction.
This past year, I conceptualized and spearheaded a project called Canal Street Market, a 12,000 square foot indoor retail, art, and food market located in Chinatown where I have been the Creative Director for the past 14 months. Prior to taking over the Canal Street Market project, I worked in the fashion industry for over a decade where I pursued a multitude of positions within different departments: merchandising/buying, photo shoot production, collaborations, product development, look book layouts, sales, & event coordination. It was in this pursuit that I discovered the sum of all my past experiences was pointing me toward a career in Creative Direction.
